Growing up in Baton Rouge, I have still always been a little leery of going to New Orleans for a parade. Since it is our last year living here I figured why not. It turned out to be such a fun day. It was pretty easy to get there, which I didn't think it would be. And it was a lot of fun getting to hang out with friends. Annie had a great time. Benjamin didn't know quite what to make of it. But he ended up with a football and soccer ball, which of course he loves. Now I just have to hide the beads, or else they would be putting them on and taking them off all day long.
