Our front garden was just a big mess of ivy. Mike broke a shovel digging all of that up and borrowed an ax from the neighbor. I put daisies up there because I just love them. I don't know if they are the best plant to put there but I like it. I need to get another picture of them on here because they are blooming right now. Side note: My hanging baskets now have a bird nest in it so they are not doing so good.

Awesome job! I'm too embarrassed to put pictures of my flower beds. This blasted LA heat is killing off everything I plant. I can't wait for Autumn to be able to plant some more stuff. For right now I'm just accepting the casualties.
I feel your pain ... we moved into a very overgrown rental. It doesn't look as good as yours - renting doesn't give you a whole lot of motivation. Looks great!
