So Benjamin has REALLY large tonsils and adenoids! So much so, that he has been barely eating, bc he can barely swallow his food I am guessing. So he has been losing weight and snoring at night, so he wakes up at night. Anyway, I scheduled his surgery to have them out and felt fine about it. It's pretty routine and my nephew just had his out and was fine. But last Friday I got a call from Annie's school saying a little boy in her class died after surgery. Found out it was the same surgery and he went home to recover and just stopped breathing. I am still feeling so sad for their family and what they must be going through. It also put me and Mike very nervous about Benjamin's surgery on Monday. Mike gave him a blessing on Sunday night and Benjamin has been doing so very good. He has barely complained of anything hurting, I have to remind myself to give him his Tylenol. Luckily his pain hasn't needed the stronger prescription. Benjamin has just been watching a lot of movies and eating Popsicles. He has had pancakes the last 3 nights for dinner and he had 3 bowls of ice cream for lunch. But I am FINE with that! Hopefully he continues to feel better. I love my sweet little boy and am so glad he is doing so well.

he will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Om goodness that is so sad! But I'm so glad to hear little Benjamin is doing fine...what a life ice cream for lunch and pancakes for dinner! :)
So happy Benjamin is recovering well, but so sorry to hear about that little boy! How awful!
Glad to hear Benjamin is doing well!
I am so glad that he made it through okay...and so sad for the family who lost their son, must have been a freak kind of thing?
Poor buddy. I hope he is on the mend soon! And what a terrible thing for those parents. To not do the surgery is risking life and to do the surgery is risking life. So scary!
