Philadelphia Saturday

We took the kids to the Philadelphia Children's Museum on Saturday. As we were finding somewhere to park we drove in front of the Franklin Institute (Science Museum) and there were a lot of people outside with cameras. We were wondering if someone was speaking or if there was a parade or something when all these STORMTROOPERS came out of the building!! Turned out to be the opening of the Star Wars exhibit. We hurried to park and got to see everyone, stormtroopers, guards, Darth Vader, Luke, etc. Mike was in heaven. Annie loved Darth Vader, but she was scared at first, which got Benjamin on edge. SO he wouldn't go near them. So now all we hear about is how she wants to go back and see them again. We did make it to the children's museum, where it was a big jazz day with lots of music. Both activities were on the news that night. The third activity wasn't but I sure enjoyed, was a visit to IKEA. It was my first time there. I was shocked how HUGE it is!
It sure was nice to have kids who weren't sick so we could do something.

How flippin' cool is that?! IT sounds like you had an AWESOME weekend! I am totally envious that you went to IKEA AND that you have kids that are able to enjoy fun things like the children's museum. Hurray for the kids not being sick! I think that's a first. J/K ;-)

Josiah would LOVE that. How fun. Jacque misses Annie, she always asks me, "where does Annie live again?, Lets move there mom" like, i'll put that on the list along with Arizona with Abby & Utah with Grandpa...
