Day 3 we spent driving to Salerno. We rented a car and drove to Mondragone for a quick stop to buy Buffalo mozzarella then on to Pozzuoli which is where Mike served a few months of his mission. Its also where the apostle Paul spent some time on his way to Rome. We stayed pretty close to the car and didn't venture very far there. Just ate our mozzarella and bread. Then we drove around Napoli to get to Salerno. By the time we got to our Hotel we were beat so we just went into the city to walk around. By the way, I LOVE Salerno. I loved just walking the street and window shopping. There weren't many tourists there. It's a beautiful city.
PS When you eat a big ball of buffalo mozzarella expect to get messy!
